Lia specializes in that cool effortless hair. While maintaining a well versed portfolio she especially loves working on styles that can be worn naturally and appear artfully styled.

Outside of the salon Lia works styling hair on editorial campaigns. She began in her private studio in San Francisco, directing and styling shoots, collaborating with her friends in the San Francisco music scene and now works on major editorial shoots as the lead hairstylist on set in New York and Brooklyn.

Styling Experience
Lia is a Bay Area born and raised stylist with 13 years of experience in the industry and 10 years behind the chair. She began working as a receptionist at salons in the bay area at the age of 13, attended the Cinta Aveda Institute in the financial district of San Francisco at 16 and began an assistant program at Population salon within the year. She stayed there for 2 years focusing on textured haircuts, seamless balayage, and those lived in loose waves we all love. She attended a Vidal Sassoon cutting program then moved on to David James Salon for the three following years where she worked on a wide variety of clients doing everything from shags, precision bobs, long loose layers, clean mens cuts, pixies, and balayage. From there, Lia began working as an independent stylist in a private studio and working on editorial shoots splitting her time between San Francisco, New York, and occasionally Los Angeles. She is now primarily based in New York City and makes quarterly trips to San Francisco.
